We are hiring a Business Development Representative- Cloud Software Distribution on behalf of our client — a forward-thinking company in the technology sector, with a strong focus on cloud and cloud-native solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute email and cold calling campaigns to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings
- Identify new business opportunities within the technology space, particularly in cloud services
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by researching, targeting, and reaching out to potential clients
- Understand client needs and articulate relevant product and service offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent and effective outreach strategy
- Track and report on outreach efforts using CRM and other sales tools
Requirements
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in B2B sales or lead generation, ideally within or for the technology industry (2- 4 years of experience)
- Comfortable conducting cold outreach via phone and email
- Basic understanding of cloud and cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, containers, etc.)
- Full-time availability, with working hours aligned to the UAE time zone
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation
- Competitive fixed compensation (LKR 150,000–200,000) with a lucrative commission scheme.
